FAQ Q243: How can I take reservations for classes or other long-term rentals?

There are two ways to do this: either you want your students to only sign up for the class once or you may want your students to sign up for each individual lesson.

In case of a single sign-up, you can enter an event-type resource (in resource settings / time-related settings click choose the resource type. and then this is an event. Then enter when the class starts and how long it's duration is (e.g. 4 months for a 4-month semester). If you want your students to be able to sign up also after the class begins, change Min. time between reservation and rental to Reservation possible also after the start time. You can even change your pricing according to when the students sign up, simply use the rule Time remaining until event ends.
